Claire is Mirabelle's daughter. Since her father died in The Unda before she was born, she's never had a strong father figure in her life. As the player gets to know Mirabelle, Claire becomes more and more attached to Cyrus, but ultimately fears that she'll lose him, knowing that her late father was a Muse and Cyrus is one as well. Resolving this conflict is the final stage of romancing Mirabelle, as it ultimately results in putting both of their minds at ease.

Seeing as her mother is the proprietress of Starshimmer Cove, Claire has a natural love of fishing, although she primarily fishes on the bank for minnows and crawdads. She's close friends with Freyja, who loves to spend her off-hours sitting and fishing with Claire, often telling stories of her grandfather's exploits. If the player completes Laila's questline, Claire spends less time at Starshimmer Cove and more time with Lumi, although Lumi will occasionally join Claire and Freyja for fishing in the evening.
